Web Tools & Helpful Links

Hi!

Welcome to the Web Tools Page. This is a quick and easy place for some cool math resources. Each web tool has a short description and a hyperlink. Try out some of these for yourself and let me know what you think. If you have any questions about these links, please reach out to your teacher.

This is website covers Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. There a variety of lessons covered in each subject. This is a great resource if you are struggling to understand an instructional video in Edgenuity. 

This is website also has a ton of helpful lessons. There a variety of topics covered throughout several courses. This is a great resource if you are struggling to understand an instructional video in Edgenuity. 

This is website covers a few different subject, but I want to highlight the probability section. If you are in concepts of probability and statistics; this is a good resource to find more instructional videos. 

This is an online graphing tool. You will be able to use this resource on all of the test, quizzes, and exams you take at Hope High School Online. The more familiar you are with this resource the more it will help you during your testing sessions. Plus, it is a very helpful tool for future college courses. some people have even created some cool art on here. 

Khan Academy has some really awesome videos on all math subjects. If you ever need a refresher on a topic, or just want to reinforce what you just learned, this is the place to go. Try searching one of your Edgenuity lesson topics on here to compare how they teach the lesson. If you send me your comparison you can receive extra credit! 

This is an online calculator. You can use this site to solve simple equations or graph a variety of equations. If you purchase their premium plan you can even view step-by-step instructions. This is a great way to double check your work. This site was a life saver when I was in college. 

We have all used YouTube before, but did you know they have a ton of Math Help Videos? Try using this site to get some math help. If you find cool math related videos that you would like to share, send them to me and you could receive extra credit. Yay, more extra credit!

Ted Talks are really awesome. Ted Talks are presentations by individuals that are passionate about what they do. They are often informative and fun. There are few in here about math and how math is used in the real world. Definitely browse around if you have some free time.
